Anti-MIP-1 alpha CCL3 Antibody

Mouse MIP-1α, or Ccl3, of the intercrine beta (chemokine CC family) is a secreted cytokine with inflammatory, pyrogenic and chemokinetic properties. It is expressed in lung, spleen, and pancreas, and has a potent chemotactic activity for eosinophils. Ccl3 binding to a high-affinity receptor activates calcium release in neutrophils.

This IgG fraction antibody was prepared from rabbit antiserum after repeated immunizations with recombinant truncated mouse MIP-1α protein produced in E.coli.

This product is an IgG fraction antibody purified from monospecific antiserum by a multi-step process which includes delipidation, salt fractionation and ion exchange chromatography followed by extensive dialysis against the buffer stated above. This antibody is specific for mouse MIP-1α protein. Cross-reactivity with MIP-1α from other sources has not been determined.

Store vial at 4°C prior to restoration. For extended storage aliquot contents and freeze at -20°C or below. Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing. Centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature. This product is stable for several weeks at 4°C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. Expiration date is six (6) months from date of opening. (Ship at ambient temperature.)
