Enables prostaglandin-D synthase activity and retinoid binding activity. Involved in cyclooxygenase pathway; gene expression; and regulation of circadian sleep/wake cycle, sleep. Acts upstream of or within negative regulation of male germ cell proliferation. Located in extracellular region. Is expressed in several structures, including alimentary system; central nervous system; genitourinary system; integumental system; and sensory organ. Human ortholog (s) of this gene implicated in carotid artery disease. Orthologous to human PTGDS (prostaglandin D2 synthase) .

At -20 ̊C for one year from date of receipt. After reconstitution, at 4°C for one month. It can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20 ̊C for six months. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
