Background

Chemokine (C-X-C motif) ligand 15 (CXCL15) is a small cytokine belonging to the CXC chemokine family that has been described in the mouse. Enables chemokine activity. Acts upstream of or within hemopoiesis; inflammatory response; and neutrophil chemotaxis. Located in extracellular region. Is expressed in several structures, including arterial system; central nervous system; embryo mesenchyme; umbilical vein; and urinary system.
