Background

Complement C1q tumor necrosis factor-related protein 3 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the C1QTNF3 gene.Enables identical protein binding activity. Involved in several processes, including intracellular triglyceride homeostasis; negative regulation of non-canonical NF-kappaB signal transduction; and regulation of cytokine production. Acts upstream of or within negative regulation of gluconeogenesis. Located in extracellular exosome and membrane.
