Background

Tumor necrosis factor receptor homolog 3 (TNFRH3; also tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 26) is a 21 kDa (predicted, unglycosylated) type I transmembrane protein and member of the TNF receptor superfamily. This gene is mapped to 7 F5; 7 88.26 cM. The ECD contains two potential sites of N-linked glycosylation and a cysteine-rich region (aa 38?126) . There is no human ortholog for TNFRH3. TNFRH3 is expressed in thymus and spleen with detectable levels in the lung.
