E.coli-derived human Cathepsin B recombinant protein (Position: L80-D333) . Human Cathepsin B shares 83% and 84% amino acid (aa) sequences identity with mouse and rat Cathepsin B, respectively.

Thiol protease which is believed to participate in intracellular degradation and turnover of proteins. Has also been implicated in tumor invasion and metastasis.

Store at -20°C for one year from date of receipt. After reconstitution, at 4°C for one month. It can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20°C for six months. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
