Involved in positive regulation of transcription by RNA polymerase II. Acts upstream of or within several processes, including cell surface receptor signaling pathway; positive regulation of endothelial cell differentiation; and positive regulation of mesoderm development. Predicted to be active in nucleus. Is expressed in several structures, including central nervous system; genitourinary system; and hemolymphoid system. Human ortholog (s) of this gene implicated in limb ischemia. Orthologous to human ETV2 (ETS variant transcription factor 2) .
