Anti-GLYAT Antibody Picoband®

Glycine-N-acyltransferase, also known as GLYAT, is an enzyme which in humans is encoded by the GLYAT gene. The glycine-N-acyltransferase protein conjugates glycine with acyl-CoA substrates in the mitochondria. The protein is thought to be important in the detoxification of endogenous and xenobiotic acyl-CoA's. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.

E.coli-derived human GLYAT recombinant protein (Position: K44-L296) . Human GLYAT shares 70.8% and 73.5% amino acid (aa) sequence identity with mouse and rat GLYAT, respectively.

At -20°C for one year from date of receipt. After reconstitution, at 4°C for one month. It can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20°C for six months. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
