Anti-IRF2BP1 Antibody Picoband® Fluoro488 Conjugated
Product Specifications
Background
IRF2BP1 (Interferon regulatory factor 2 binding protein 1) is a 64-66 kDa member of the IFR2BP family of proteins. It is widely expressed, and known to bind to the C-terminus of IRF-2, creating a transcriptional repressor complex. IRF2BP1 also bind to JDP2 (Jun dimerization protein 2), promoting its ubiquitination. Human IRF2BP1 is 584 amino acids (aa) in length. It contains two Zn-finger domains (aa 6-67 and 498-584), one coiled-coil region (aa 197-217), a Cys-rich region (aa 503?550), an N-terminal acetylation site at Ala2, and multiple utilized phosphorylation sites at Ser 66/125/186/384/421/436/453/457. Over aa 188-356, human and mouse IRF2BP1 are identical in amino acid sequence.
