T1R2 - Taste receptor type 1 member 2 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the TAS1R2 gene. TAS1R2/TAS1R3 recognizes diverse natural and synthetic sweeteners.

E.coli-derived human TAS1R2 recombinant protein (Position: Y96-D839) . Human TAS1R2 shares 69.6% and 71% amino acid (aa) sequence identity with mouse and rat TAS1R2, respectively.
