Anti-PACSIN1 Antibody Picoband® Fluoro647 Conjugated
Product Specifications
Background
Protein kinase C and casein kinase substrate in neurons protein 1 is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the PACSIN1 gene. PACSIN1 was originally identified as a molecular link between membrane trafficking and actin organization. PACSIN1 interacts with vesicle-associated proteins and plays a role in endocytosis and endosomal recycling. In addition, it has a role in actin remodeling and microtubule nucleation.

Function
Downstream effector of TOR signaling pathway involved in osmotic stress response. Could be involved in the control of plant growth and development. Phosphorylates the ribosomal proteins P14, P16 and S6. Functions as a repressor of cell proliferation and required for maintenance of chromosome stability and ploidy levels through the RBR1-E2F pathway.
