Anti-INTU Antibody Picoband® Fluoro647 Conjugated
Product Specifications
Background
INTU plays a key role in ciliogenesis and embryonic development. INTU is a regulator of cilia formation by controlling the organization of the apical actin cytoskeleton and the positioning of the basal bodies at the apical cell surface, which in turn is essential for the normal orientation of elongating ciliary microtubules. It plays a key role in definition of cell polarity via its role in ciliogenesis but not via conversion extension and has an in effect on hedgehog signaling.

Function
Downstream effector of TOR signaling pathway involved in osmotic stress response. Could be involved in the control of plant growth and development. Phosphorylates the ribosomal proteins P14, P16 and S6. Functions as a repressor of cell proliferation and required for maintenance of chromosome stability and ploidy levels through the RBR1-E2F pathway.
