Anti-Serine racemase/SRR Antibody Picoband® Fluoro647 Conjugated
Product Specifications
Background
SRR (serine racemase) is a 37 kDa protein and belongs to the serine/threonine dehydratase family. It plays a role in neuronal activity and a potential biological role in the regulation of N-methyl-D-aspartate (NMDA) receptor activity in these peripheral organs as well. SRR catalyzes the racemization between l- and d-serine.

Function
Seems to mediate adhesion by cell surface integrin binding. May serve as a communication link between the dermal fibroblast cell surface and its extracellular matrix environment. Enhances TGFB1 activity. Inhibits cell proliferation. Accelerates collagen fibril formation, and stabilizes collagen fibrils against low-temperature dissociation (By similarity) .
