Anti-gamma Synuclein/SNCG Antibody Picoband®

Gamma-synuclein is a protein that in humans is encoded by the SNCG gene. This gene encodes a member of the synuclein family of proteins which are believed to be involved in the pathogenesis of neurodegenerative diseases. Mutations in this gene have also been associated with breast tumor development.

A synthetic peptide corresponding to a sequence at the C-terminus of human gamma Synuclein/SNCG, which shares 53.8% amino acid (aa) sequence identity with rat SNCG.

Binding to cells via a high affinity receptor, laminin is thought to mediate the attachment, migration and organization of cells into tissues during embryonic development by interacting with other extracellular matrix components.

At -20°C for one year from date of receipt. After reconstitution, at 4°C for one month. It can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20°C for six months. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
