Anti-S100A14 Antibody

S100 calcium binding protein A14 (S100A14) is a protein that in humans is encoded by the S100A14 gene. This gene encodes a member of the S100 protein family which contains an EF-hand motif and binds calcium. The gene is located in a cluster of S100 genes on chromosome 1. Levels of the encoded protein have been found to be lower in cancerous tissue and associated with metastasis suggesting a tumor suppressor function.

A synthetic peptide corresponding to a sequence at the C-terminus of human S100A14, which shares 93.8% amino acid (aa) sequence identity with mouse S100A14.

At -20°C for one year from date of receipt. After reconstitution, at 4°C for one month. It can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20°C for six months. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
