Anti-Neurotensin Receptor 1/NTSR1 Antibody Picoband®

Neurotensin receptor type 1 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the NTSR1 gene. Neurotensin receptor 1 belongs to the large superfamily of G-protein coupled receptors. NTSR1 mediates the multiple functions of neurotensin, such as hypotension, hyperglycemia, hypothermia, antinociception, and regulation of intestinal motility and secretion.

Important for the control of mitochondrial reactive oxygen species homeostasis, apoptosis regulation and cell viability. Possesses a dithiol-reducing activity.
