Anti-KIF2A Antibody Picoband® Fluoro647 Conjugated

Product Specifications

Background

Kinesin-like protein KIF2A is a protein that in humans is encoded by the KIF2A gene. The protein encoded by this gene is a plus end-ed motor required for normal mitotic progression. The encoded protein is required for normal spindle activity during mitosis and is necessary for normal brain development. Several transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.

Function

ICAM proteins are ligands for the leukocyte adhesion protein LFA-1 (integrin alpha-L/beta-2) . ICAM2 may play a role in lymphocyte recirculation by blocking LFA-1-dependent cell adhesion. It mediates adhesive interactions important for antigen- specific immune response, NK-cell mediated clearance, lymphocyte recirculation, and other cellular interactions important for immune response and surveillance.
