Anti-EIF2B1 Antibody Picoband® Fluoro550 Conjugated

Product Specifications

Background

Translation initiation factor eIF-2B subunit alpha is a protein that in humans is encoded by the EIF2B1 gene. This gene encodes one of five subunits of eukaryotic translation initiation factor 2B (EIF2B), a GTP exchange factor for eukaryotic initiation factor 2 and an essential regulator for protein synthesis. Mutations in this gene and the genes encoding other EIF2B subunits have been associated with leukoencephalopathy with vanishing white matter.

Synonyms

Low affinity immunoglobulin epsilon Fc receptor; BLAST-2; C-type lectin domain family 4 member J; Fc-epsilon-RII; Immunoglobulin E-binding factor; Lymphocyte IgE receptor; CD23; Low affinity immunoglobulin epsilon Fc receptor membrane-bound form; Low affinity immunoglobulin epsilon Fc receptor soluble form; FCER2; CD23A; CLEC4J; FCE2; IGEBF
