Human Anthrax toxin receptor 1 is a type I membrane protein with an extracellular von Willebrand factor A domain that binds directly to protective antigen (PA). Human Anthrax toxin receptor 1 is also identified as the high-affinity cellular receptor for Seneca Valley Virus (SVV)[1].
