The extraction method is based on a particularly time-saving one-step liquid phase separation.How is the RNA isolated?Bio&SELL RNA Tri-Liquid contains a mixture of phenol and guanidine isothiocyanate in monophasic solution. After the addition of chloroform and subsequent centrifugation, the homogenate separates into three phases, a coloured lower organic phase, a whitish interphase and an upper colourless aqueous phase. The RNA is in the upper aqueous phase. The RNA is precipitated from this aqueous phase via the addition of alcohol.High-quality RNA:RNA extraction with Bio&SELL RNA Tri-Liquid can be carried out in approx. 1 hour.
