They are characterized by specific surface markers (CD73, CD90, CD105) and have the ability to differentiate into almost all cell types of the body. As a result, MSCs have great potential for cell therapeutic approaches and clinical research.After isolation, stem cells are generally cultivated in cell culture media containing specific nutrients, growth factors and serum (often FBS) to promote growth and proliferation. The problem here is the variable composition of foetal bovine serum. The biologically obtained serum has high batch-to-batch variability, which can affect the viability and potency of MSCs as well as the reproducibility of the experiments. Storage & StabilityBioSTEM Stem Cell Medium: Stable for 15 months at 2-8°C (protected from light) .BioSTEM Supplement: Stable for 15 months at -15°C.BioSTEM stem cell medium after supplementation: stable for 4-6 weeks at 2-8°C. The growth factors have a sufficiently high concentration so that the medium only needs to be changed every 2-3 days.
