ClearPeak Random Hexamer is a mixture of short oligonucleotides of random sequences [d (N) 6] representing all possible sequences for a hexamer that anneal to random complementary sites on a target DNA or RNA and serves as primers for DNA synthesis by a DNA polymerase or reverse transcriptase. The primer is supplied in distilled water. ClearPeak Random Hexamer is recommended for use with EcoScript 5x First Strand cDNA Synthesis Kit (Cat. no. ERT50, ERT100, ERT200) .
