SpCas9 D10A Nickase is a mutant of the Cas9 protein. SpCas9 D10A Nickase retains the function of a cleavage domain of Cas9 nuclease and specifically cleaves the target single strand to form a nick. SpCas9 D10A Nickase reduces off-target effects[1].
