6-Chlorooxindole (compound 2) is a selective chymase inhibitor with an IC50 of 470 μM. 6-Chlorooxindole shows >100-fold selectivity for chymase over cathepsin G. 6-Chlorooxindole can be used for the study of cardiovascular disease[1].
