Flindersine
Flindersine is an antidiabetic and antioxidant agent. Flindersine can result in a decline of blood glucose levels in rats. Flindersine also reduces the body weight gain, plasma insulin concentration, urea, creatinine, total cholesterol, triglycerides and free fatty acids levels in vivo. Flindersine enhances the phophotylation of GLUT4, AMPK, and PPARγ in adipose tissues and skeletal muscles[1].
