Myristamidopropyl dimethylamine (MAPD) is an antimicrobial agent (including against bacteria and fungi) and an insecticide, exhibiting inhibitory activity against Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus aureus, Candida albicans, Fusarium solani, and Acanthamoeba polyphaga. Myristamidopropyl dimethylamine can be used in research on microbial-induced keratitis [1].
