Palmitanilide
Palmitanilide (Palmitic acid anilide) is an antibacterial agent against Gram-positive bacteria. Palmitanilide can electrostatically bind to relevant components in the cell walls of Gram-positive bacteria (such as Bacillus cereus), alter the cell membrane structure, and affect the normal functions of the cells. Palmitanilide is promising for research of infectious diseases caused by Gram-positive bacteria[1].
