Dipropyl disulfide (Standard)

Dipropyl disulfide is oxidized to dipropyl thiosulfinate (DPDSO) by rat microsomes. Both flavincontaining monooxygenases (FMO) and cytochrome P450 enzymes (CYPs) are involved in dipropyl disulfide oxidation. Dipropyl disulfide forms two metabolites: propylglutathione sulfide conjugate and propylthiol[1].
