Tetrabutylammonium (difluorotriphenylstannate)
Tetrabutylammonium difluorotriphenylstannate is an organic compound containing ammonium, fluoride and triphenylstannate ions. It is commonly used as a source of fluoride anion in organic synthesis, especially in the production of pharmaceuticals and agrochemicals. Tetrabutylammonium Difluorotriphenylstannate has strong nucleophilic properties, allowing it to selectively fluorinate various functional groups in the molecule, such as alcohols, amides and esters. In addition, it can be used as an intermediate in the synthesis of other organostannane compounds.
