Tetramethylammonium (dichloroiodate)
Tetramethylammonium (dichloroiodate) is an organic compound containing ammonium, chloride, and iodate ions. It is commonly used as an oxidizing agent in organic synthesis reactions, especially for the production of aldehydes and ketones from primary and secondary alcohols. Tetramethylammonium Dichloroiodate has strong oxidizing properties, enabling it to selectively oxidize alcohols without affecting other functional groups in the molecule. In addition, it can be used as a precursor for the synthesis of various other iodine-containing compounds.
