Geranic acid (Standard)
Geranic acid (Standard) is the analytical standard of Geranic acid. This product is intended for research and analytical applications. Geranic acid is a monoterpenemainly used in flavor, fragrance, cosmetics and agro-industries[1]. In vitro studies show that geranic acid exhibits strong inhibitory activity against Fusarium graminearum and Colletotrichum graminicola, the two main fungal pathogens of maize[2]. It also exhibits antitumor activity[3].
