MPEG-Alkyne (MW 2000) is a PEG derivative. The alkynyl group can react with azide in aqueous solution under the catalysis of monovalent copper. Polyethylene glycol derivatives can increase the solubility and stability of drugs, reduce the immunogenicity of peptides, and have good biocompatibility[1].
