Azide-PEG1-Desthiobiotin
Azide-PEG1-Desthiobiotin is a PEG derivative consisting of desthiobiotin, 1 PEG unit, and an azide group. Biotin can form a stable non-covalent bond with streptavidin. It contains an azide group and can undergo copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAc) with molecules containing alkyne groups. It can also undergo ring strain-driven alkyne-azide cycloaddition (SPAAC) with molecules containing DBCO or BCN groups[1].
