N-Deacetylthiocolchicine
N-Deacetylthiocolchicine is a tubulin inhibitor with an IC50 value of 2.2 nM in MDR-negative MDA-MB 231 breast cancer cells. N-Deacetylthiocolchicine exerts antiproliferative activity by binding to tubulin to interfere with microtubule assembly, arresting cells in mitosis during the cell cycle. N-Deacetylthiocolchicine is promising for research of malignancies such as breast cancer[1][2].
