Benzo[f]tetraphene (Dibenz[a, c]anthracene) is a polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon with significant antitumor activity. Benzo[f]tetraphene is used as a luminescent probe in cell biology research and can effectively detect reactive oxygen species in biological systems.
