VIR-7229 is a human IgG1 monoclonal antibody (mAb) targeting Receptor-Binding Domain, RBD, Spike glycoprotein. VIR-7229 exerts antiviral activity by competing with ACE2 for binding and inducing S1 protein shedding. VIR-7229 can be used in SARS-CoV-2 infection research. Recommended isotype control: Human IgG1 kappa, Isotype Control (HY-P99001) [1].
