DR3/TNFRSF25 Protein, the receptor for TNFSF12/APO3L/TWEAK, interacts with adapter TRADD, activating NF-kappa-B and inducing apoptosis. It may crucially regulate lymphocyte homeostasis. Forming homodimers, it strongly interacts with TNFRSF1 and TRADD via death domains, initiating distinct apoptosis and NF-kappa-B signaling cascades. Interaction with BAG4 contributes to its multifaceted cellular response roles.
