It induces chromatin decondensation by binding to histone H1 and plays a role in pre-rRNA transcription, ribosome assembly, and potential transcription elongation. NCL Protein, Human (HEK293, Fc) is the recombinant human-derived NCL protein, expressed by HEK293, with C-hFc labeled tag.
