Astacidin 1
Astacidin 1 is an antibacterial peptide. Astacidin 1 can be produced by a proteolytic cleavage from hemocyanin under acidic conditions. Astacidin 1 has broad-spectrum antibacterial activity against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria[1].
