Cn-AMP1 is a disulfide-free plant peptide identified from green coconut water. Cn-AMP1 shows activity against multiple pathogenic bacteria, fungal pathogens and cancer cells. Cn-AMP1 is capable of up-regulating inflammatory-cytokine secretion by monocytes. Cn-AMP1 can be used for research on control bacterial infections and cancers[1].
