NP-BSA
NP-BSA (4-Hydroxy-3-nitrophenylacetyl-bovine serum albumin) is an antigen-adjuvant conjugate of 4-Hydroxy-3-nitrophenylacetyl (NP) conjugated to bovine serum albumin (BSA), which is an immune complex. By conjugating antigens to protein adjuvants, the production of antigen-specific antibodies in vaccine models can be enhanced. The conjugate does not affect protein folding or disrupt major epitopes, and can enhance cross-presentation and the generation of antigen-specific T cells[1].
