Phaseolus vulgaris Lectin-P is the protein form of Phytohemagglutinin before the separation and purification of Phytohemagglutinin-L (PHA-L) and PHA-E. Phaseolus vulgaris Lectin-P can be used to stimulate the proliferation of peripheral mononuclear cells, promote the production of certain cytokines and the expression of membrane surface proteins[1].
