Human apolipoprotein E
Human apolipoprotein E is a member of the family of soluble apolipoproteins. Human apolipoprotein E plays a key role in lipid transport in plasma and the central nervous system by interacting with members of the low-density lipoprotein receptor family. Human apolipoprotein E can be used for the study of atherosclerosis and neurodegenerative disorders, including Alzheimer's disease[1].
