Tetrahydrodehydrodiconiferyl alcohol (TDDC) is a reduction product of dihydrodehydrodiconiferyl alcohol catalyzed by phenylcoumaran benzylic ether reductase. Tetrahydrodehydrodiconiferyl alcohol can be isolated from a hydrogenolysis product of protolignin[1].
