Conopharyngine (12,13-Dimethoxycoronaridine) is the indole-alkaloid that can be isolated from Tabernaemontana pachysiphon. Conopharyngine affects the functions of cardiovascular and smooth muscle, and exhibits analgesic and nervous system stimulating activity[1].
