Ferruginoside C is a phenylethanoid. Ferruginoside C can be isolated from V. leiocarpum. Ferruginoside C shows potent alpha-glucosidase inhibitory activity with an IC50 of 19.93 μM. Ferruginoside C shows antioxidant activities. Ferruginoside C can be used in the research of cervical cancer, ovarian cancer, and colon cancer[1].
