Hericenone C is a metabolite derived from Hericium erinaceus. Hericenone C inhibits LPS -induced NRE::Luc luciferase activity, reduces phosphorylation of p65 and inhibits NF-κB signaling. Hericenone C exhibits neuroprotective effect[1].
