Belactin A (Compound 4) is a Carboxypeptidase Y (CP-Y) inhibitor with a IC50 of 0.18 μM. Belactin A can be isolated from Streptomyces erythraeus. Belactin A has antihypertensive and general pump inhibitory activities[1][2].
