ER-Laurdan
ER-Laurdan, a derivative of Laurdan (HY-D0080), is a fluorescent probe. ER-Laurdan contains a pentafluorophenyl (PFP) group with a PEG10 linker; the PFP group reacts with thiols in unfolded proteins in the ER and the linker provides flexibility for the protein-bound probe to integrate into the membrane. ER-Laurdan can be used to the study of the endoplasmic reticulum[1].
