Anti-Heart Failure Agent 4 (Compound 3) is an anti-heart failure agent with anti-inflammatory activity found in processed Cornus officinalis. Anti-Heart Failure Agent 4 inhibits NO release in LPS-induced RAW264.7 cells. Anti-Heart Failure Agent 4 alleviates myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury, reduces myocardial infarction size, and improves myocardial histopathological changes. Anti-Heart Failure Agent 4 is promising for research of heart failure[1].
